I stayed at the hotel on the first day, and the last two days of my cycling trip. I had booked a single room and even though I had arrived earlier, I was not allowed to check-in till 3pm. However, the staff was kind to allow to leave my luggage while I headed off for lunch only returning at 3pm to check -in. My room was simple but clean. However, you may want to indicate for a non-smoking room at the point of booking as I was probably given a smoking room from the unmistakably cigarette smell that welcomed me the moment I opened the room door. The room came by pj, disposable slippers, toothbrush, and small sachets of body wash, shampoo and condition. If you want to shower more than once a day during your day - you may need to ask for more sachets. Alternatively, you can use the male, and female public bath at the basement of the hotel, but the bathing facility is only opened for use from 6:30pm to 11pm. As for the public bath, it was not big - probably big enough for 5 persons to soak in the bath at each time with enough space before us, and without feeling awkward. However, the cabinets where I had store my clothes in after undressing - there was a smell of dampness. I had problem communicating with the front desk staff in English. It was only during my 2nd stay at the hotel later in the week when one of the staff mentioned that she is a chinese national and that was when I was able to communicate better - in Chinese. The room came with breakfast. It was your typical Japanese breakfast - buffet style - of rice, miso soup, salad, meatball, natto, sausages, simmered vegetables, numerous pickles and sides dishes. They have toast too if Japanese breakfast isn’t your thing. It was simple but adequate I would definitely stay at Trust Hotel if I ever return to Hiroshima, and I would not hesitate to recommend friends to stay there too. It is conveniently located - about 7-minutes walk from Hiroshima Station.

I had such a great time staying here. There are two main reasons I chose this hotel. First is because the room size is bigger than 200 ft2. I used to take room size for granted, but you have to check when travelling in Japan because sometimes their rooms are super tiny. Second, this hotel is very conveniently located near the Hiroshima Station. Not only does it take you only about 10 minutes to get to the station, along the way there are many food places, groceries, and, most importantly, electric bike rental stations. I used bikes extensively so it was great that there was a station just by the hotel. Those were things I looked for, but here are the things that the hotel came with. First, laundry facilities. Now, that might be common, but what's cool is that you can monitor the laundry status from your room's TV. That means that you don't have to hang out in a dinky laundry room. Not that their laundry room was dinky lol. It even has a vending machine. Another option was you could hang out in their onsen (that's what they call the public baths, right?), which was their second bonus. That's right, this hotel has their own onsen, which was free for guests. Third, they have a nice breakfast buffet in the morning - and, again, you can check how busy the restaurant was from the TV before going downstairs. Fourth, have I mentioned the TV? Besides being able to check on the status of the laundry and the restaurant, the TV also comes with a selection of movies and cartoons, even international and foreign ones. Although, everything was dubbed into Japanese so that's that. Fifth, for the coffee heads, the room comes with its own coffeemaker! Lastly, it's worth mentioning that they allowed me to check in early, although understandably I couldn't get the room until later. Which didn't matter cause I'm happy to tour the city since they happily stored the luggage for me.

It is a hotel with a hostel floor. Though it is a floor with shared rooms (men and women were separated), you had your own room. I loved having so much privacy! Everything was super clean, they had an onsen I sadly couldn't go to due to my schedule, everyone was provided with slippers and enough towels and a pyjama. The pyjama was so comfy! Absolutely loved it. I had a upper bunk bed and normally I have issues with those. This was the first accommodation I didn't have problems going into and out of my upper bunk bed. The bed was so cozy, I felt asleep immediately after I had arrived! The hotel is just a few minutes away from the train station. You can see the train station from the entrance of the hotel. They provide a wide range of amenities in the lobby and they have bending machines, so you can stay in your comfy pyjama and never have to leave the hotel. Each room had a huge TV, which is very exceptional for a hostel and such a cheap price! The breakfast was Japanese and super delecious! They provide you with a booklet of what the hotel offers, they even keep your luggage after check out. Sadly, I only stayed for a night. I liked the city and the hotel was amazing! I will definitely come back! They treat hostel guests like hotel guests, I wonder how they treat hotel guests then! This hotel is a MUST BOOK when you are in Hiroshima!

The hotel is located nearly 10 minutes walk away from Hiroshima station, which made it very easy to reach either after day trips or after visiting the most popular sightseeing spots. The breakfast had a lot of variety to it, so everyone could find something to their taste. The hotel itself was probably the best one I've stayed at so far. The room was more spacious than I expected it to be, which was very welcome with bulky luggage. The interior of the hotel, passage ways, rooms and facilities looked very clean, new and modern, which was a pleasure to eyes, and it was always nice to go back to the hotel after a long day. The staff was also super helpful and responsive and helped me to solve all the issues I had. Once again, thanks a lot for everything! I will definitely come back to Trust Hotel if I come to Hiroshima again. :)

Trust hotel is just a few minutes walk away from Hiroshima central station. That being said, its easy to travel to and from tourist spots around the area. You can get to Miyajima island which is btw one shouldnt miss when you are in Hiroshima, in just under 50 mins. The room is generally bigger than most room I have stayed at in Japan. Breakfast is included in room rate buffet style. They have a laundry area and I really appreciate that you can monitor your laundry time on their TV. TV is modern too and you can cast your phone to it, they offer free movies on their TV too,its like a mini Netflix. They have free rental of stuff like hair iron, iron and many more. They have Dolce de gusto inside the room. Staff were nice and helpful.
